I am Jen.
My user name stems from an anaesthetic that turns one's tears strangely red.
I am a perpetual nursing geek... Part LPN, part mid-day clinician, cracking out the days with books and papers and live streaming audio in the background. Now I'm crackin' out an RN program, having spent a the better part of 17 months tackling an PN program. It consumes a great deal of my time. Don't be surprised if I suddenly go off on medical terms or bizarre conditions or workplace misadventures... It is what I do, and what I live for.
Music is my friend. I own and buy droves of it, though I'm a little pickier than most folks. Don't expect to find Hillary Duff or My Chemical Romance in the mix, because it won't be there. For the exception of a few, I generally don't make myself slave to the more corporate selections.
Goth is my life outside of medicine. It is my path, my passion... The core of most of my interests. Keep your stripey pink t-shirts and your white tweed sweaters. Give me black, or give me nothing at all. Give me crosses, and hairpieces, and freaky little dolls... Eyeliner and lipstick painted on the walls.
